The Animation Workshop discovered the town of Otsuki, Kochi Prefecture in the mysterious island of Shikoku in Japan, and has decided to hold an exclusive drawing workshop there from August 23rd to 26th 2019, imagining the blooming of talent through the art of drawing.
This workshop is a four-day introduction to the classical approach to drawing. During the workshop the students will learn new tools to be able to better understand and grasp the human figure. Students will work on understanding mass, volume, gesture, proportions.
Maja Meisner Vendelbo
Maja graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg(Russia), and teaches classical drawing at The Drawing Academy / The Animation Workshop in Denmark.

Originally wooden schoolhouse that became an Inn in 1990. Located by the seaside, where you can see coral. You will spend the night by the flames of lamps.
We will provide a cruse ship from Sukumo station to the Venue.

Otsuki is a small town with a total area of 102.94 square kilometres, located at the southwest end of Shikoku Island by an amazing ocean with diverse coral and fish. It also has charming mountain forests. You will be touched by the richness of nature and the kind hearts of the community.
